Various events are scheduled for the long weekends during the summer. Also most weekends there are usually various events arranged by the Rec Committee.

Friday June 29th
6pm – registration for 2 week fishing derby opens – adults $5 for Bass and $5 for Walley or $8 for both. Kids 12 and under FREE. Weigh in at site 13 with Julie or Crystal.
Saturday June 30th
10am – kids meet at site 13 (Julie and Steve’s) to make Christmas floats. Supplies/Decorations needed.
12pm- loonie lunch – hotdogs and drinks $1 each – down by the water
Everyone welcome to decorate their trailers
8:30pm-kids meet at the rec hall to get ready for the Santa Clause parade through the park
9pm- everyone meet at the water for s’mores, sparklers, music and a special guest for the kids 🎅

11am- meeting at the rec hall
1pm – Horseshoe Tournament- see Crystal or Tara if interested in playing $2 pp entry fee

5pm – fishing derby ends for weekend 1

6pm – start of weekend 2 fishing derby

2pm – fishing derby ends followed by presentations at 2:30

FAMILY FUN DAY AUGUST 4th & 5th
Saturday Aug. 4th:
10-11am – Wild Zoo Party at the rec hall, everyone come and meet some cute and creepy animals.
11-12pm – games at the rec hall (relay games and obstacle course)
12pm – loonie lunch (hot dogs and pop $1/each) at Steve and Julie’s site 13
1pm – water fun (weather permitting) come down to the beach front adult and children, fun activities for all starting with a pudding eating contest.
8pm – Entertainment: DJ Mark and Elvis with a break for;
9pm – Auction – all funds raised goes to rec association to help with events.
Sunday Aug 5:
11am – seasonal campers meeting
1pm – horseshoe tournament $2 entry
7:30pm – Poker at the rec hall
*All events Saturday are weather permitting, if it rains or the water is too rough, games will be in the rec hall*
Sept Labour Day Meal and live entertainment in the Rec Hall.
